Undergraduate Research Awards
Providing funding for research-based employment, undergraduate research awards are offered by McMaster as well as by Canada’s three research granting agencies. These awards enable undergraduate students to combine research work experience with academic studies for a potential future career in research.
Humanities Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA)
USRA awards provide undergraduate students in Humanities an opportunity to create their own research-based employment.
Tri-Agency Undergraduate Student Research Awards (NSERC, CIHR, SSHRC)
Administered jointly by Canada’s three research granting agencies, recipients receive funding for 14 to 16 weeks of full time, student-initiated research.
